INFN – Frascati National Laboratories, 29 May 2025
On 29 May, at the INFN’s Frascati National Laboratories, the award ceremony for the GENERA competition took place: an extraordinary initiative aimed at high school students, designed to reflect together on gender stereotypes, the future and opportunities in STEM careers.
The GMP network had the pleasure of contributing to this experience, sharing reflections on the importance of deconstructing gender prejudices and building new imaginaries: more inclusive, free and aware.
The works presented reminded us how urgent and necessary it is to continue investing in these issues, especially with – and for – the new generations.
After the award ceremony, students visited the DAFNE accelerator and the experiments on physics applied to the fine arts, guided by Lucilla Pronti from GMP.
Speakers for the GMP network were:
🔹 Sabina Pellizzoni, with the speech “Generate STEM without barriers”
🔹 Martina Romani and Adriana Postiglione, with ”Storytelling from the world of research
🔹 Maria Rosaria Masullo was entrusted with the day’s conclusions.
