Hi, I’m Sara, a researcher from the Perugia section. In my scientific career I have always dedicated myself to research in the field of high energy astrophysics through data from the Fermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope. The secrets of the cosmos have always fascinated me, since I was a child.
Curiosity and the desire to find answers to the big questions of science and more generally of life have always accompanied me during my professional growth, and not only that, let’s say that this attitude has now become a lifestyle.
My research is focused on understanding astrophysical phenomena linked to the acceleration of particles through photons that reach us through the Universe and traveling for billions of years.
Only recently have we been able to observe joint emission from different messengers coming from the deep cosmos, opening a new window in the field of multi-messenger astrophysics. Different messages to study the Universe and reveal its secrets.
