Hi, I’m Francesca, technologist of the Rome section of the INFN.
I graduated in electronic engineering at Tor Vergata in 2005, and I got to know the INFN reality thanks to some study friends.
Since 2006 I have been working in the Rome office, dealing with the electronic design of network cards on FPGAs used in supercomputers for scientific computing applications, and since 2021 I have been collaborating on the NA62 project for level 0 triggering.
The mentoring program began at a particular moment in my life: I had been in precarious employment for many years and I could see the hope of a permanent contract.
My mentor helped me to observe with a critical eye the difficulties encountered in reconciling work and family, she encouraged me to overcome the difficulties, and helped me to look to the future of work!
