15 and 16 May 2025 the Embassy of ItaIia in Sweden celebrated the Day of Italian Research in the World (GRIM2025) in Lund.
The first day of GRIM discussed STEM, the scenario in Italy and Sweden, and how to promote the choice of these skills needed to manage the transition in the coming years towards digitalisation, energy, advanced materials, etc.
Speakers included Sabina Pellizzoni and Anna Bianchi from INFN, the National Institute of Nuclear Physics, one of the most prestigious scientific institutions in the field of nuclear and particle physics, and Silva Bortolussi from the University of Pavia, an institution founded in 1361 and among the oldest universities in the world.
